About the role

This is a 4-week night-shift assignment at an acute-care hospital in New Orleans, LA. The facility uses Epic for charting and has 254 beds with patient ratios of 5:1 on days and 4:1 on nights.

Pay

$1,666 to $2,065 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (18:30 – 07:00)
• Start date: 09/21/2026

Responsibilities & Skills

• Adult Critical Care
• Aerosol set-up (mask and trach)
• Arterial punctures and drawing arterial blood gases
• Bag-and-mask ventilation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Emergency Department care
• ET tube management, extubation, and intubation assistance
• Hand-held nebulizer and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) administration
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) therapy
• Nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Oxygen tank management
• Pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• T-piece and trach-collar set-up
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT
