About the role

This is a 13-week night-shift assignment at an acute care hospital with one opening available. The facility is a Level 1 trauma center, Magnet-designated, and has 681 beds. Charting is done in Epic.

Pay

$2,183.56 to $2,376.52 weekly, including taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 19:00 – 07:30
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
• Start date: 08/17/2026

Responsibilities & Skills

• Aerosol set up (mask and trach)
• Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Mucomyst, Pulmicort, Spiriva, Tobramycin, Xopenex administration
• Bag-and-mask ventilation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Bronchoscopy assistance
• Chest physiotherapy (including vest therapy)
• High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and nitric oxide (INO) delivery
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Intubation assistance and extubation
• Metered-dose inhaler (MDI) and hand-held nebulizer use
• Nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Oxygen tank management
• Adult critical-care procedures: ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, fresh tracheostomy, IMV, inhaled Flolan, racemic epinephrine, trach collar, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Pulmonary hygiene and sputum specimen collection
• Tracheostomy care and management

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Certifications: CRT, RRT, BLS
