Responsibilities & Skills

• Adult Critical Care
• Aerosol set up (mask and trach)
• ARDS management
• Aspiration protocols
• Medication administration: Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Albuterol, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva
• Bag and mask ventilation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Bronchoscopy assistance
• Chest Physiotherapy (including Vest therapy)
• Drawing and interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Emergency Department experience
• Endotracheal tube (ET Tube) management: insertion, extubation, troubleshooting high pressure alarms
• Fresh tracheostomy care
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) administration
• Inhaled steroid administration (e.g., Medihaler, Metered Dose Inhaler)
• Intubation assistance
• Nasal and oral airway placement and suctioning
• Oxygen tank management
• Patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance)
• Pneumonia care
• Pulmonary hygiene
• SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
• Sputum specimen collection
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• T-piece and trach collar management
• Tracheostomy care and management
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Active BLS and RRT certifications
• Travel experience required

Pay

$2,532.24 to $2,702.80 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements)
