Job Summary

Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in Berlin, VT. This position offers a competitive salary range of $2360.00 to $2590.00 weekly for a 13-week assignment. Shifts are available nights, with a schedule of 3, 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and document findings in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Provide patient education on respiratory health and disease management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Vermont.
• One year of relevant experience in respiratory therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a respiratory therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
