• 12-week assignment
• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

• Adult Critical Care
• Aerosol setup (trach, mask)
• Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Medihaler, Mucomyst, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex
• ARDS
• Arterial punctures and drawing arterial blood gases
• Bag and mask ventilation
• BiPAP, Bubble CPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-piece, Trach collar
• Capillary blood gases
• ET Tube management
• Fresh tracheostomy care
• Hand-held nebulizer and Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) administration
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Intubation assist
• Inhaled steroids
• Nasal airway suctioning, Oral/nasal suctioning, Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Nitric Oxide (INo)
• Oxygen tanks and patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance)
• Pediatrics
• Pneumonia and pulmonary hygiene
• SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
• Tracheostomy care/management
• Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms
• Weaning from mechanical ventilation

Requirements

• 1 year of experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• Charting System: Epic
