Travel RRT - $2,036 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit position
• Night shift schedule: 3×12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 7:00
• Weekend shifts as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities including Avon, Euclid, Fairview, Lutheran, and Pulmonary Main Campus

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 3×12-hour shifts
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Openings: 1

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active NBRC credential required at time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Ohio RRT license required (if applicable)
• All certifications must be active, not pending
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months
• Background check review required; facility does not accept any license hits
• Negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start and updated annually

Additional Information

• Facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free with no exceptions
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical/religious exemptions only
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignment extensions available for up to 18 months total, followed by a required 6-month break
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
