Travel RRT - $1,502 per week

About the role

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) needed for a night-shift contract at a dedicated heart hospital. The assignment is in a 71-bed respiratory therapy unit with 16 staff members, utilizing equipment including 980 ventilators, V60s, MetaNeb, C-1, Nihon Kohden, and AirVo devices. No on-call duties are required.

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Hours: 36 per week (3×12-hour shifts)
• Weekend shifts required
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Active RRT license (where applicable)
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Current ACLS certification
• PALS certification (required if caring for pediatric patients)
• NRP certification (required for staff caring for neonates)
• Minimum 6 months of specialty experience within the last 6 months
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)

Additional requirements

• Scrub attire: black scrub bottoms and olive green scrub tops
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• All certifications must remain valid for at least 30 days after the assignment start date

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
