Travel RNFA - $3,814 per week

About the role

Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) travel contract position at an outpatient surgery center in Pittsfield, MA. 13‑week assignment, start date ASAP, 40 hours per week, day shift with on‑call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Registered Nurse First Assistant during surgical procedures.
• Support surgical teams in an outpatient surgery center setting.
• Float to the main operating room as needed.
• Provide first‑assist support while maintaining patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation based on department needs.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff throughout the perioperative process.
• Follow facility protocols, compliance standards, and surgical workflow expectations.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license (conditional license accepted).
• Minimum 3 years of RNFA experience.
• CNOR certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• COVID‑19 vaccination status required.
• Experience in outpatient, ambulatory surgery, or operating room environments preferred.
• Travelers only; local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted.
