MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Case Manager, Utilization Review for a 13‑week assignment in Somerville, Massachusetts. The role involves coordinating continuity of care, acting as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare organizations, and promoting cost‑effective, self‑managed care across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuity of care for patients, acting as a liaison between the patient’s family and healthcare organization.
• Work in a variety of settings including HMOs, community health organizations, long‑term care facilities, behavioral health programs, rehabilitation centers, schools, and case management companies.
• Promote self‑managed care and the most cost‑effective use of healthcare resources.
• Ensure proper treatment is administered at the appropriate time to maximize health and well‑being.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Case Manager setting.
• Active RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
