Relies heavily on real-time, face-to-face interaction with doctors, patients, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize hospital resources. Responsible for performing admission and concurrent medical record reviews to ensure patients are in the correct Patient Class (e.g., Inpatient vs. Outpatient with Observation). Directly influence the hospital's throughput, length of stay, and reimbursement accuracy. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS – GA/compact RN licenseAssociates or Diploma in Nursing (from an accredited college or university)AHA BLS3+ years strong clinical knowledge with clinical practice/experienceKnowledgeable about case management process and about utilizing screening criteria in review of clinical data and identifying varianceEpic experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – Bachelors degree in Nursing LENGTH OF ASSIGNMENT – 13 weeks SHIFT / HOURS PER WEEK – Dayshift, 40hrs/wk SYSTEMS – Epic START DATE – ASAP Facility Location Marietta, GA is a community of about 60,000 residents located just northwest of Atlanta.
