Travel: RN - Urology

Responsibilities

• Maintains professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Administers medications and treatments according to protocols.
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates tasks to other care providers.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given accurately.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact.

Qualifications

• Competent in providing routine and complex care.
• Able to manage long-range goals or plans effectively.
• Capable of coping with and managing contingencies of clinical nursing.
• Practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to assess and address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Knowledge of nursing processes and protocols.
• Proficiency in administering medications and treatments.
