Travel RN Trauma & General Surgery Step-Down - $2,272 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a position in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries
• Assist with medication administration and monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform routine patient assessments and document findings
• Ensure patient comfort and safety

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in stepdown nursing
• Current BLS certification (certifications vary by location)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid driver's license
• Background check and drug screen required

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience in area of specialty listed on job
• Current BLS required (certifications vary by location – job may require ACLS)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid Driver's License

Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective problem-solving abilities

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
