Responsibilities
- Recover phase 1 PACU patients
- Manage airways, pain, and nausea in patients aged 6 months to 95 years
- Perform excellent IV skills
- Instill prescribed pupil-dilating drops
- Conduct patient interviews and assessments
- Maintain a fast pace and embrace teamwork
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a surgery center
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Familiarity with surgical eye cases strongly preferred (cataracts, cornea, retina, glaucoma, plastics)
