About the role
A travel nurse RN Med Surg position is available in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to medical/surgical protocols and standards.
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience in the related nursing specialty preferred (1 year).
- BLS required (AHA only).
- RN License in state of NM required.
- ACLS required (AHA only).
- PALS required (AHA only).
- CPI required.
Qualifications
- Current licensure in the state of NM.
- Current certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI.
Skills
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits
Tax-free stipend to be determined based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
