Travel RN Step-Down - $2,048 per week

About the role

This is a flexible acute care position where travelers will be assigned based on the facility's greatest need and the nurse's experience level. Possible assignments include: Progress Care Unit (PCU), Stepdown Unit, Med-Surg Telemetry, and Acute Care Units.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring step-down monitoring from intensive care units.
• Assist with routine patient care including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe patient environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in PCU / Stepdown, or Med-Surg Telemetry.
• Acceptable credentials: Med-Surg RN, Stepdown/PCU RN (same credentialing process for both skill sets).

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
• Current BLS certification.
