Travel RN - Rapid Response - $2,608 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina. The position is for a Pediatric Registered Nurse, providing high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients, including those in oncology. Start date: ASAP. Assignment duration: 8 weeks (also noted as a 13‑week contract position). Hours: 36 per week, 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Prior pediatric experience in a hospital setting (mandatory).
• Oncology nursing experience preferred.

Pay
