Job Details

Registered nurse position in PCU/Telemetry specialty.

Must have 2+ years of recent med/surg experience.

Float required.

Must include Epic experience within the last year on resume.

Solid black scrubs required.

Must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE.

Job Requirements

• BLS certification required (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable).
• ACLS certification required (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable).
• Nursys license required within 30 days of start.
• Licence/Certificate verification must be done within 30 days prior to start with primary source verification.
• Fit Test required for all patient facing positions, updated annually.
• Health Statement with pre-employment physical within year of start.
• Driver's License/State ID required.
• NIHSS Stroke scale certification required to be completed through Apex, Health Stream or AHA.
• Summa Competency Exam required, unit specific, updated annually.
• Summa Skills Checklist required, unit specific, updated annually.
• Summa EKG Exam, Telemetry Exam required, passing score 80% or higher, updated annually.
• Summa Core Competencies required including HIPAA, Joint Commission -NPSG, OSHA Topics within 90 days of start, updated annually.
• Summa RN Submission Packet checklist required.
• Summa Work Order Confirmation form required after offer acceptance.
• MMR vaccination or titer required; no declinations accepted.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or titer required; signed declinations accepted.
• 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required; no declinations accepted.
• Varicella vaccination or titer required; no declinations accepted.
• Annuar TB Questionnaire required.
• Summa Drug Screen negative 10 panel required within 30 days of start, updated annually.
• Summa Criminal Background Check required, must be FCRA compliant and run within 90 days of start.
• Summa OIG Search required within 90 days of start.
• Summa EPLS required within 90 days of start.
• Summa Education Verification required.
• Social Security Card or SSN required.

Schedule Information

Shift: 19:00 - 07:30 (Night shift).

No block schedules allowed.

Not allowing RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Only accepting 7 days max of RTO; submissions with more than 7 days will be rejected.

Unit Specific Information

• Unit specific competency exams and skills checklists required.
• Summa EKG and Telemetry exams required with passing score of 80% or higher.

Additional Details

• Covid-19 vaccine required prior to start; medical or religious exemptions approved case by case.
• Influenza vaccine required October-April; medical or religious exemptions only with agency approval and attestation form.
• Must repeat certain requirements with break in service of 30 days or more.
