About the role
Stability Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a 13-week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
- Care for patients who have undergone anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Provide comfort and reassurance to patients and their families immediately following surgery
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in PACU preferred but not required
- Ability to work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule, nights
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of post-anesthesia care procedures
- Ability to manage stress and handle emergencies
