About the role
Community Medical Center in Missoula, Montana is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg / Telemetry position.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 1 year of relevant experience
- NG tube placement and management, Foley placement and management, chest tube maintenance skills
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- Outgoing with excellent communication skills, adaptable to change
Qualifications
- Must have a valid RN license in good standing
- Willingness to work weekends every third weekend
- No call requirements
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
