ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Mother Baby (Night Shift) travel assignment in Sylva, North Carolina. This is a 13‑week contract requiring 36 hours per week on night shift (19:00–07:00) with weekend hours every other week. The nurse will provide care for neonates and postpartum patients, participate in couplet care, attend deliveries, and assist in newborn recovery. Experience with post‑cesarean section patients and antepartum/postpartum complications is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for postpartum patients and newborns.
- Attend deliveries and perform essential newborn recovery practices.
- Monitor and manage antepartum and postpartum complications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize the EHR system (Paragon) for accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting with skills in couplet care.
- Current RN license.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- BLS certification.
Schedule
36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (19:00–07:00), with weekend requirements every other week.
