Travel RN Neurology - $2,452 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Work in a comprehensive stroke center with ratios of 3:1 for SD patients and 5:1 for all other patients.
• Precept and potentially work in the virtual room.
• Experience and knowledge of stroke and neurology preferred.
• Respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Maintain good working relationships with other employees.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an RN.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
• Basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• A degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN license from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Basic life support certification from the American Heart Association.

Skills

• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Some computer skills.
