Travel RN Medical/Surgical Telemetry - $2,218 per week

About the role

GrapeTree Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a position in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assess patients’ health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• At least one year of recent clinical experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
• Travel nursing experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
