About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a 26-week assignment starting August 2, 2026, in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred
Qualifications
- Passing scores on NCLEX-RN
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
