Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend: Rotating

- ACLS (required)
- 2+ years of Med/Tele specialty experience (required)
- 2+ years of hospital experience (required)
- Active TX RN License – Temp licenses not accepted. Compact RN License accepted.

- Meditech experience preferred

- General Med Surg
- Initiate IV
- NG insertion
- Foley insertion

Patient Experience Expectations
The RN is responsible for decisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice. Important aspects include promotion of a safe and therapeutic environment for both recipients and providers of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledge, skills, and additional formal education to provide specialized care; demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice; clinical practice consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of this facility; and supervision of other staff as designated within the department. Must be competent in: Patient Experience, AIDET, Bedside Reporting, Hourly Rounding, and Service Recovery.
Dress Code & Appearance Policy
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue w/ Med City Embroidery – Proof of Purchase REQUIRED
- Nail Policy: Clean and healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
- Hair: Neat and clean, no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches, and sideburns clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
- Tattoos: Body art should be covered whenever possible. If not feasible to cover daily, will be addressed individually.
- Piercings: Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings).
