Travel RN Long-Term Care/SNF - $1,993 per week
About the role
Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 27-week assignment in Long Term Care in Waterloo, New York.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the operation of the nursing units
- Provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the nursing units
- Teaches and supervises staff on respective shifts
- Communicates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Manager regarding unit problems
- Collaborates with Director of Nursing and/or Nurse Managers to resolve problems
- Makes sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC (off-shift/weekends)
Requirements
- NYS RN licensure, minimum 1-year nurse experience in long term care + supervisory experience across multiple units
- Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing
- BLS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation
- CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include: - Current New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure - BSN preferred - BLS required through AHA or RQI system during clinical orientation - CPI obtained within 90 days of hire
Skills
Strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The estimated pay package is based on bill rate at the time the job was posted.
Schedule
8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
