Travel RN Long-Term Care/SNF - $1,598 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Long Term Care (LTC) at an unspecified location in Elk Horn, Iowa. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility setting.
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient progress.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss resident care plans.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Iowa.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
