About the role

L&D nurses, your next travel opportunity is here! Take your labor and delivery experience to rural West Texas, where you’ll support mothers and newborns in a hospital averaging approximately 30–40 deliveries per month. This assignment is ideal for an experienced L&D RN who can confidently care for patients across the OB continuum—not postpartum-only nursing. Location: Sweetwater, Texas. Specialty: Labor & Delivery. Contract: 13 weeks. Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. Start Date: October 26, 2026. Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week. Openings: 1.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care.
• Care for antepartum and postpartum patients and provide nursery care.
• Support safe maternal and newborn outcomes throughout the childbirth process.
• Use CPSI/Evident EMR for clinical documentation.
• Support holiday coverage as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Recent Labor & Delivery experience is required.
• Ability to care for antepartum, postpartum, and nursery patients.
• Current, active nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications.
• OB circulating experience preferred.
• Important: Postpartum-only experience does not meet the requirements. Candidates must have Labor & Delivery experience.
