Travel RN Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum - $2,333 per week

About the role

The position involves providing care in the Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum department at a 36-bed hospital in Hancock, Michigan. The facility is part of the Western Upper Michigan Peninsula and is a Verified Chest Pain Center.

Responsibilities

• Serves patients in the L&D, Postpartum, and newborn areas.
• Provides care that includes cardiopulmonary, anthroscopic surgery, emergency department, orthopedic, sports medicine, diagnostic services, advanced wound care, certified sleep disorder center, walk-in clinics, regional dialysis unit, pharmacy, 64-slice CT scanner, nuclear imaging, 3D mammography, radiology, laboratory, rehabilitation, home care, hospice, and senior living services.
• Works closely with other healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Requirements

• Comfortable and experienced in labor delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Experience with various surgical procedures and emergency care.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform tasks related to cardiac, pulmonary, and orthopedic care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long, nights.
