About the role

GTT Healthcare Staffing Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Concord, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with policies and procedures providing optimum patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Prioritizes patient needs and functions as patient advocate.
  • Affirms the biological, psychological, sociological, and cultural needs of the patient and the family. Assesses and monitors patient condition including vital sign monitoring and recognition of electrocardiogram changes, and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Recognizes, documents, and assists in the treatment of contrast reactions.
  • Intervenes in emergency situations.
  • Assists radiologists with special procedures and treatments that require professional nursing skills.
  • Administers conscious sedation and monitors patients as appropriate.
  • Assesses need for and administers other medication as appropriate.
  • Provides continuity of care for the critically ill patient.
  • Demonstrates skill in using special equipment such as monitors infusion pumps, 02 equipment, ventilators, etc.
  • Documents patient status and nursing interventions.
  • Complies with patient identification protocol.
  • Demonstrates ability to prioritize nursing responsibilities within the department.
  • Provides health teaching and procedural information to patients and families.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of nursing experience
  • Critical care experience
  • BLS & ACLS certification required
  • MA RN License

  • Knowledge of all areas of nursing practice
  • Mature judgment, initiative, and proficiency in nursing skills
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Professional interest through self-development, continuing education, and involvement in professional organizations
  • Knowledge in physical assessment, aseptic techniques, IV skills, and universal precautions
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Read, write, and communicate in English
  • Computer skills required
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
