Travel RN Float Pool - Stepdown - $2,250 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care are met. ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Stepdown for a position in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The role is for a Registered Nurse in a Stepdown specialty, starting 11/02/2026, with a 13‑week travel contract. Expect 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts, weekends as scheduled, and a 48‑hour guarantee.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post‑hospital care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EPIC charting system.

Requirements

• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid nursing license (required for submission)
• Equivalent experience in an acute care setting is preferred
