Travel RN Float – Med Surg/Telemetry, PCU, Stepdown - $2,873 per week

Shift: 12 HR Nights
Total Weekly Hours: 48

Required Experience and Skills

• 24 months of experience in Progressive Care, Stepdown, Med Surg, Tele, or Med surg/Telemetry
• Experience, comfort, and proficiency with drips: heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, digoxin
• Ability to comfortably/confidently read EKG/ECG including all Tele related duties/responsibilities (rhythm strips, dysrhythmia reads)
• EPIC EMR experience

Preferred Experience and Skills

• 24 months of current Progressive Care, Stepdown, Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele experience

Leadership Experience

Professional Reference/Reference Check from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO from within 24 months

Licensure

• Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate license at time of submission
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS (Basic Life Support)
• De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) [preferred]
• NIH Stroke Scale certificate [nice to have]

Other Requirements

• Skills Checklist specific to the discipline listed (Progressive Care, Stepdown, Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele)
• Must complete Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment with a passing score of 80% during onboarding
• Driver’s License [document required]

Pay Package
