Travel nurse RN Float Med Surg position in Albany, New York. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Work across multiple medical‑surgical units (Med Surg/Medicine E3, E4, Float Pool, Med Surg/Ortho) at an Academic Medical Center Level 1 trauma center with a children’s hospital.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on medical‑surgical units, including Med Surg/Medicine E3, E4, Float Pool, and Med Surg/Ortho.
• Float to areas with competency as needed, supporting up to 22 different medical and surgical units.
• Perform procedures such as central line placement, paracentesis, wound vac placement, chest tube management, and BIPAP support
