Travel RN First Assistant - $3,027 per week

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a 13-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide First Assist services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assist with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the procedure.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation of the procedure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in First Assist or similar role preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be willing to travel to various locations within the United States.
• Must be available to start immediately.
