Travel RN Endoscopy - $2,195 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a 13‑week assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The position requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate will have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience and expertise in endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of nursing care for patients in the Endoscopy Unit, following company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, maintaining safe work practices.
• Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and specialized equipment, ensuring agreed decontamination standards and accurate traceability records.
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty; lift up to 20 pounds routinely, with occasional patient‑handling requiring up to 50 pounds.
• Be aware of potential hazards from chemical exposure and infectious diseases.

Requirements

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in endoscopy, including knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopic procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
