• 13 weeks
• Start date: ASAP
• 36 hours/week
• 96 hours guaranteed bi-weekly
• EMR: Cerner

Position Highlights

• Unit size: 30 beds
• Typical patient ratio: 1:4
• Shift: Mids – 3:00 PM–3:00 AM
• Schedule: 4 × 12-hour shifts
• RTO: Maximum of 1 week
• No RTO blackout dates
• No required holidays
• Scrub color: Navy

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency care
• Perform patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition promptly
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapidly changing patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and follow-up care
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Cerner
• Float to other areas as required by facility needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN License
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS OR ENPC – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• Cerner EMR experience
• Strong emergency nursing assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Traveler Requirements

• Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates will NOT be accepted)
• Current driver's license must be included with submission
• Permanent home address must be included with the submission
• Permanent address must match the address on the driver's license/ID
• Required RN license and certifications must be attached to the submission
• Missing required documentation may result in the candidate being rejected
