Role Overview Provides high-level direct patient care in a level IV trauma emergency department, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach. Focuses on delivering evidence-based, safe, and quality care while precepting new staff and embracing a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in emergency settings up to level 1 trauma care.Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and outcomes through evidence-based practices.Model proficiency and mentor new healthcare professionals.Contribute to team efforts to improve patient safety and care quality. Qualifications & Skills Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.Minimum of 1-year nursing experience.Certifications: ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC or ATCN, and BLS (American Heart Association or Red Cross).Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Key Duties Deliver emergency care in a level IV trauma ED, including trauma certification standards.Engage in continuous learning and professional development.Support a culture of safety, quality, and compassionate patient-centered care.
