Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, evaluates, and revises a plan of care for assigned patients and families.
• Provides direct care and delegates and supervises all nursing care according to the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
• Demonstrates clinical competence, manages patient care, improves quality of care, establishes professional relationships, and utilizes professional skills.
• Fulfills responsibilities of the role of the hospital and develops clinical expertise per specialty.
• Supervises Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, Nursing Aides, and Techs.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of dialysis experience, or one (1) year of Critical Care experience, or one (1) year of dialysis experience and two (2) years of experience in the Medical/Surgical field required.
• A current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• A current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
• A current ACLS and BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients.
• Other certifications may be required by the client (e.g., CDN, CNN, CHN, CPDN).

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate in addition to a tax-free stipend (if applicable), no pay cuts mid-contract, referral bonus (up to $1000 per referral), and license reimbursement if traveling to a new state where a new license is required.
