Travel RN Cardiovascular - $2,501 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position involves caring for patients in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Step-down setting, requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients who are not unstable enough to require ICU care.
• Utilize computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other critical vital signs.
• Detect changes in patient condition and enable intervention in life-threatening or emergency situations.
• Administer complex medications, including titration based on patient vital signs.

The PCU nurse is also referred to as a step-down nurse, and the unit may be known as cardiac step-down, medical step-down, neuro step-down, surgical step-down, or ER holding.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS Certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
