About the role
We are seeking a skilled Travel Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans
- Assessing and managing patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
- Performing diagnostic tests and administering therapies such as chest physiotherapy and aerosol medications
- Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery
- Documenting patient progress and educating patients/families on medication and equipment use
- Working collaboratively with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- Preferred: ACLS or PALS certification
