Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Responsibilities

• Providing advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary conditions.
• Collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans.
• Performing diagnostic tests and administering therapies such as aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy.
• Monitoring and adjusting equipment to ensure proper oxygen delivery.
• Assessing patient status, recording progress, and educating patients and families.
• Working within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RRT experience and NBRC credential.
• Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS or PALS preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients.
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to work under pressure.
