About the role
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions. The role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients, collaborating with healthcare teams, performing diagnostic tests, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Develop treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
- Document patient progress and response to therapy
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory function
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management
Requirements
- At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- NBRC RRT credential
- Valid state license
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS.
