About the role

A skilled Respiratory Therapist is needed to provide advanced respiratory care for patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. This role involves independent patient evaluation, collaboration with physicians, and patient education within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage respiratory conditions
• Collaborate with physicians on patient care plans
• Conduct diagnostic tests related to respiratory function
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments
• Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care

Requirements

• At least one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• NBRC credential (RRT)
• Valid state respiratory therapy license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
