About the Role
Provide advanced respiratory care to patients with pulmonary disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, treat, and manage patient needs, perform diagnostic tests, operate and monitor respiratory equipment, and educate patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Evaluate patient status and progress
- Perform diagnostic procedures and administer therapies
- Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment
- Document patient progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
- NBRC RRT credential
- Valid state license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS or PALS certification
