Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the role

A registered respiratory therapist (RRT) responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory conditions in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Perform diagnostic tests, monitor equipment, and develop patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on medication use and equipment operation.
• Work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year recent experience as an RRT and NBRC credential.
• Valid respiratory therapy license and current BLS certification.
• Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS.
• Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to move equipment and perform procedures; ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
