Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

Provide advanced respiratory care for patients with pulmonary disorders and critical illnesses. This includes assessment, treatment, diagnostics, equipment setup, and patient education.

Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and perform procedures within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests and manage respiratory equipment
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment plans
• Perform assigned duties within the scope of practice with flexibility

Requirements

• One year of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
• NBRC credential and valid state license
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred certifications: ACLS or PALS

Qualifications

• Demonstrated critical thinking and strong communication skills
• Physical stamina and technical proficiency
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
