About the Role

A Travel Respiratory Therapist delivers advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans
• Assess and treat patients
• Perform diagnostic tests
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment
• Record patient progress
• Educate patients and families
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent RRT experience
• NBRC credential
• Valid state license
• Current BLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, technical, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and work effectively in various environments

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS or PALS certification
• Other relevant licenses or certifications as required
