About the Role
Provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses as a Travel Respiratory Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Assess and treat patients with respiratory conditions
- Perform diagnostic tests related to pulmonary function
- Operate and monitor respiratory equipment
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- One year of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
- NBRC credential
- Valid state license in respiratory therapy
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
