Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory care to patients.
- Assess and manage patients with pulmonary disorders.
- Perform diagnostic tests and administer therapies.
- Monitor and operate respiratory equipment.
- Record and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
- Examine patients and perform assigned duties within scope of practice.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
