Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to patients.
• Assess and manage patients with pulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer therapies.
• Monitor and operate respiratory equipment.
• Record and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and management.
• Examine patients and perform assigned duties within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
