About the role
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care to patients with complex pulmonary and critical illnesses. The role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients with various respiratory conditions, collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests related to respiratory care
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatments
- Set up and monitor respiratory equipment
- Work as part of a team to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements
- At least one year of recent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience
- NBRC credential
- Valid state license
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS or PALS preferred
