Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

About the Role

Provides advanced respiratory care for patients with pulmonary and critical illnesses, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans, perform diagnostic tests, administer therapies, monitor equipment, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with respiratory needs
• Perform diagnostic procedures and administer therapies
• Monitor patient progress and ensure proper equipment use
• Operate within the full scope of respiratory therapy practice

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Active NBRC credential
• Valid state respiratory therapy license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse healthcare team
• Meet physical demands of the role
• Maintain professionalism and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
